University of Colorado - Startups2Students 2010
March 11, 2010, 6:30-8:00p in the Enginering Center at CU Boulder
Discovery Learning Center (note that parking is available in lots marked in pink on the map)
CSUAC (the Computer Science Undergrad Advisory Committee) is currently seeking entrepreneurs in the Boulder/Denver area who are interested in networking with the CU computer science community at startup2students 2010. Interested? Contact Ben Limmer and sign up on our eventbrite
startups2students is a collaboration between the University of Colorado and the Boulder and Denver early stage entrepreneurial community. The goal is to introduce students interested in summer programming internships or jobs with early stage companies in the Boulder/Denver area to these companies, as well as to introduce the students to some young people who have chosen a career and life path of entrepreneurship.
After the success of last year's event, CSUAC (the Computer Science Undergraduate Advisory Committee) at CU will be hosting another event on March 11, 2010. This free event is open to graduate and undergraduate computer science students attending CU. Food and refreshments will be provided...it's chill and casual. The format will be similar to that of the 2009 event, so check out last years agenda here.
What to expect:
The event will start with brief presentations and insights from the participating companies. These presentations should be short (~5-10 minutes) and expose students to the world of entrepreneurship and what each company does. Then we will break for a catered dinner, followed by an informal chance to network (we recommend bringing business cards or the free iPhone application, Bump for use in networking).
